Book Fair Results

We have received our Barnes & Noble gift card! Our PTA sponsored Book Fair in December was an awesome success. How we did this year: 
  • We earned a Barnes & Noble gift card totaling $1,655.16
  • 31 books were purchased and donated at the event
  • Our gift-wrapping station raised $102 in donations
Our event resulted in over $2,000 in value for our TMS Library! From Ruby Schick, Library Specialist:
 
"I am incredibly proud of our student volunteers. Seeing them interact with patrons and sharing their love for reading was inspiring. They were fantastic TMS advocates! Our student volunteers received Tiger Points for their hard work and will be receiving shout-outs in upcoming morning announcements and during an upcoming lunch period. They will also receive a bag of popcorn at our next popcorn Friday!

Tillicum PTA Earns Platinum Award

 

Tillicum PTA has recently been recognized by Washington State PTA as a Platinum Membership Growth Award recipient! PTAs are presented with this award for enrolling at least 20% more members this year than last year. That means our PTA growth has been truly exceptional! Thank you to everyone who has become a member so far this year: YOU are the reason our PTA achieved this award! Dear Parents & Guardians,
Idling your car while waiting for your child contributes to air pollution, wastes fuel, and affects the health of our students and staff. Let’s work together to create a cleaner, safer environment for everyone!
 
Why Should You Turn Off Your Engine?
🔹 Protect Our Kids – Idling releases harmful pollutants that can trigger asthma and other respiratory issues.
🔹 Improve Air Quality – Less idling means cleaner air around our school and community.
🔹 Save Money – Idling wastes fuel, costing you extra money over time.
🔹 Reduce Carbon Emissions – Help fight climate change by reducing unnecessary pollution.
 
What Can You Do?
✅ Turn off your engine if you’ll be waiting more than 30 seconds.
✅ Use designated pick-up areas efficiently to keep traffic moving.
✅ Spread the word and encourage others to join the movement!

ASB has re-opened the Tillicum Middle School spirit wear store with more logo and apparel options. The store is open February 26th to March 12th. Buy your spirit gear and support the ASB!
