Promotion Celebration Is at Risk

Tillicum's 8th Grade Celebration Is at Risk — Be the Hero We Need

We are less than a month away, and we still need someone to take the lead in organizing this event.

✅ We have the theme.
✅ We have the DJ.
✅ We have the location.
✅ We even have a few parts in place.
❗ What we don’t have is someone to bring it all together.

I know everyone is busy. Believe me, I get it. Many of us are juggling work, school activities, and everything else life throws at us.

But I also know that when our Tillicum families come together, amazing things happen.

If you’ve been thinking, “Maybe I could help, but someone else will probably do it” — this is the sign that you are the someone we’re waiting for.

Without help, this party won’t happen.

👉 If you’re interested—or even just curious—please reach out to me at president@tillicumpta.org.

Let’s make sure the Class of 2025 gets the celebration they deserve. They’ve earned it.

Thank you 💙🧡🐾

8th Grade Families: We Need Your Photos!

Many families have said they’d love to see a photo slideshow for our 8th grade celebration and promotion. We’d love to make that happen—but we can’t do it without your help!

Please fill out the form and upload:

  • One baby photo
  • One current photo

Upload here:

Deadline to submit: Friday, June 6th

Questions? Email: 8thgradeparty@tillicumpta.org

These photos may be displayed during both the 8th grade celebration and the promotion ceremony. Even a simple loop of memories will mean a lot to our students (and families!). 💙🧡🐾

6th Grade Camp Packing List

6th grade camp is just two weeks away (May 28-30)! School will be going over the Packing List with students in their Language Arts class this week. Please let one of the camp co-coordinators, Mrs. Hay or Mr. Jensen, know if you need help obtaining anything on the list and we will be happy to assist. And if your student wasn’t initially going to attend but now would like to, please email Mrs. Hay or Mr. Jensen right away and they will make it happen!

School will be sending out some last-minute information a few days before camp, including Wednesday drop-off and Friday pick-up information, as well as cell phone numbers to contact leaders at camp. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to email leaders! Kim Hay hayk@bsd405.org and Dave Jensen jensenda@bsd405.org

Paint the Path is Coming!

We're 40% short of our annual fundraising goal—equal to about $15,000—and we need your help! Join us for a vibrant, end-of-year celebration to support Tillicum's students and staff.

During the last hour of school until 4pm on June 20th, students and staff will have the opportunity to join a "color run" on the track and get sprayed with colored (non-toxic) powders. Look forward to crazy fun and social time where we will have treats for sale and students have the opportunity to have their yearbooks signed.
  • We need several volunteers to help make this event happen.
  • We need supplies for this event. Your donation will help save our very little budget AND make this event more fun!
  • We are asking families and our community to donate to the PTA.

Let’s end the year strong—for our school and for each other! Thank you for your support.
