Paint The Path Success

Thank You for an Incredible End-of-Year FUNdraiser!

What an amazing way to wrap up the year! With the sun shining and our students fully engaged—off their phones, socializing, running around, and having fun—we got to witness the heart of our community in action. From controlled chaos to unforgettable memories, this event was a success because of YOU.

Thank you to our “Paint the Path” Crew:

And to the volunteers who brought it to life:

Extra thanks to our volunteer student DJ Ian Hotchkies for keeping the energy up!

If we happened to miss your name, please know it wasn’t intentional. There were a lot of moving parts behind the scenes, and we are truly grateful for everyone who played a role in making the day a success. Thank you!

You all helped create something special—and it showed. Because of our wonderful community, we've raised over $9,000 (not including donor matches)!

We’re so proud to be part of this community.

Thank You 2024–25 PTA Board!

Big Shoutout to the 2024–25 Tillicum MS PTA Board!

On behalf of the Tillicum Middle School community, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to this year’s incredible PTA Board: Kaʻili Baker, Zach Baker, Carmel Sasaki, Tricia Miller, Todd Patrick, Ngoc Tran, Kevin Wang, Simone Jackson, and Amy Thompson.

We’ve heard so many kind words from families and staff about how amazing this year’s PTA has been—organized, involved, and deeply supportive of our students and school. Your time, energy, and dedication made a real difference.

Some of us will be continuing in both new and returning roles next year, and we’re looking forward to keeping that momentum going.

Thank you for being such a powerful part of what makes Tillicum a special place!

THANK YOU MR. JENSEN!

Shoutout to Mr. Jensen — our longtime PTA Teacher Liaison and someone who’s been showing up for this community for years.

He’s at almost every school event, helps lead an amazing 6th grade camp experience, teaches all day, and still makes time to sit in our PTA meetings (which can run pretty late). And he does it all without ever making it about him.

We’re so grateful for his dedication, consistency, and the way he gives his time so generously. Tillicum is lucky to have him — and so are we! Thanks for your time and support Dave!

Why We PTA...

Every event, celebration, and enrichment opportunity at Tillicum is made possible by the support of our families. Recently, we received this heartfelt letter from Ms Wang (along with a card signed by her students) thanking the PTA for helping make their field trip extra special.

This is where your support goes! Whether it’s time volunteered or dollars raised, it all adds up to moments that matter for our kids and staff.

Thank you for being part of it.
